liked it and I said no. I used google translate again to say “I wanted layers/ en capas” and showed her my phone again with the translation. Another client came over and I showed her my phone with the translation -that I wanted layers and that I was not happy ; she then wet my hair again to try style it further. Having arrived at 4.30pm and it now being approximately 6pm it was obvious to me it was getting worse the more she tried to “fix it”. She said if I was still unhappy once I had a chance at home to style it then I could return to have it cut further. I messaged her a little later and said I was extremely unhappy and that she had ruined my hair ; her response was that she could cut it again ; several messages between us she said that my hair is extremely dry, damaged etc which is why she could not style it. She chose to continue to blame me for the terrible hair cut instead of accepting responsibility and offering to refund me. I told her I was urgently looking for a hairdresser to fix it as soon as possible. I sent her several photos of my hair in various layered styles, all flattering & professionally done. The mess was not due to my hair condition but due her lack of skills. She did not even use scissors and hacked it off with a hair clipper. She has continued to blame me, my hair and blame the fact that I don’t speak Spanish etc. The terrible hair cut had nothing to do with my inability to speak Spanish since google translated “en capas”. Cutting hair has nothing to do with language and everything to do with technical ability to cut a style that suites that person. Thankfully I was able to get an appointment at an excellent hairdresser in Barcelona (who only speaks Spanish) and did an excellent fix up of the “hair style” In short ; - unprofessional, abrasive, incompetent - technically poor skills - unable to cut a flattering hair style that suited my face - makes personal insults - Eg said it’s my face that’s the problem and not the hairstyle - poor customer care Ie remains unapologetic & rude. Blames my hair, blames the fact that I don’t speak Spanish etc - did not bother to offer to return my money. Her “hair style” resulted in me 2 hair cuts in 48hr, wasted time & money -is threatening me with legal action and harassing me to the point I had to block her on messenger. - makes outlandish claims that I deliberately had my hair ruined/ that I was paid to say negative things about the salon The public can judge the “hair style” themselves! I had shoulder length hair and wanted layers

I morally have to warn the public. I had a horrific experience! I HAD medium length hair and visited the salon and asked for layers (using google translate/en capas) - the hairdresser showed me photos on her phone of highly stylised hair cuts and I said no, I want “wash and go with layers” (busy Mom life and work life) my hair was hacked off into uneven chunks, with zero style (the top was too short with uneven sections that did not blend and the sides were poorly cut resulting in “bunches”) it looked like a wig!
